Registration Reminder: If you are bringing a support person or caregiver, please ensure you register for two tickets—one for yourself and one for your support person.

Please note that our classes tend to fill up quickly. If you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration or notify us at info@open-up.org at least 4 hours prior to the start of the class. This allows us to open up the spot for others who may wish to attend. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Caregivers’ Yoga 

This inclusive class is designed for those who dedicate their time and energy to caring for others.

Overview:
Caregivers’ Yoga is a class designed for those who dedicate their time and energy to caring for others. No prior experience is necessary! This class emphasizes mindfulness, rest, and self-care, providing a supportive space where caregivers can take time for themselves to recharge and reflect.

What to Expect:
This 60-minute class offers a blend of movement, mindfulness, and community support, tailored to the needs of participants. Sessions typically include:

  • Gentle, energetic movements to warm up the body

  • Rest and relaxation practices to promote deep restoration

  • Mindfulness tools such as breathwork or meditation
    Optional opportunities to share experiences with fellow caregivers create space for connection and support.

Open Up classes are designed to be accessible to people with and without disabilities—everyone is welcome! Our facilitators create a supportive, sensory-inclusive environment and work to meet the unique needs of each participant. Dance Party

Our Monthly Dance Party is a fun-filled celebration of movement, music, community connection, and laughter.

Overview:
Our Monthly Dance Party is a fun-filled celebration of movement, music, community connection, and laughter. This inclusive event welcomes everyone, regardless of dance experience—whether you're a seasoned dancer or just looking to have fun, this is your space! Our facilitator will guide the group through accessible choreography, but the real magic happens when you express yourself in your own unique way.

What to Expect:
During this 60-minute long event, you'll enjoy:

  • Guided dance moves led by our facilitator

  • Freedom to move in your own way—follow along or groove to your own beat

  • Fun and connection with others through shared movement and laughter

This Dance Party is designed to encourage self-expression, creativity, and joy. It’s a space where you can explore movement, have fun, and connect with others in a welcoming community environment.

Community Yoga: with ASL Interpreter

This inclusive class was designed with our Deaf + hard of hearing community in mind but is for everyone. 

Overview:
Monday Morning Community Yoga is a welcoming and inclusive class designed for our Deaf + hard of hearing community but is for everyone and no prior experience is necessary! Through gentle movement, light cueing, clear demonstration, and minimal verbal instruction, this class fosters mindfulness, body awareness, confidence,  and connection in a supportive and encouraging community.

What to Expect:
In this 60-minute class, you’ll explore movement, mindfulness, and rest through guided instruction tailored to meet diverse needs. All movements are designed to teach mindfulness tools, build strength, and enhance flexibility, allowing you to move in a way that feels best for your body.

Improv + Yoga

This inclusive class offers a joyful way to connect with yourself and others. 

Overview:
Yoga + Improv is a lighthearted and welcoming class designed to encourage self-expression and connection. No prior experience is necessary! This unique experience blends playful improv games with gentle yoga poses and intentional rest, allowing participants to explore creativity and mindful movement in ways that feel best for them.

What to Expect:
This class is a 40-minute experience divided into two parts:

  • A 20-minute social connection session, where participants engage in fun and supportive improv games, led by Colton.

  • A 20-minute relaxing movement break, featuring a few yoga poses to support mindfulness and relaxation, led by Emily.

Through guided activities and a supportive community, Yoga + Improv fosters self-exploration, creativity, and personal growth.

Inclusive Ballet

This inclusive class is a fun way to move in community with others - no dance experience necessary.

Inclusive Ballet is a fun and welcoming class designed for anyone—no dance experience necessary! In this supportive environment, participants explore gentle movements and accessible ballet poses that promote mindfulness, body awareness, and confidence.

What to Expect:
This 60-minute class is the perfect introduction to ballet for absolute beginners. Through playful exploration and encouraging guidance, you’ll learn fundamental ballet steps and vocabulary while building strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Exercises are designed to be accessible and adaptable, allowing each participant to move in a way that feels best for their body.

Thursday Community Yoga

This inclusive class is designed around individuals on the Autism Spectrum but is open to all.

Overview:
This is a class designed specifically around individuals on the autism spectrum. This class centers building mindfulness tools, gentle strength and flexibility, and self-empowerment in a supportive, welcoming environment. No prior experience is necessary! Through accessible movements and poses, participants explore physical and mental wellbeing while encouraging self-expression and connection to their bodies.

What to Expect:
This class focuses on learning to link breath with movement to deepen the understanding and connection with our physical bodies. Spectrum Yoga includes:

  • Faster-moving yoga sequences that challenge both strength and flexibility

  • Mindfulness tools to promote calm and focus

  • Self-expression and empowerment through movement

The class provides a space for self-exploration, personal growth, and connection in a community of shared experiences.

Saturday Community Yoga

This inclusive class offers a chance to move and breathe in community with others.

Overview:
Saturday Community Yoga is an inclusive class where we come together to cultivate gentle strength, flexibility, and mindfulness in a warm and welcoming environment. No prior experience is necessary! This class focuses on accessible movements that empower you to connect with your body and breathe while fostering a sense of community and shared experience.

What to Expect:
In this 60-minute long class, you’ll move through a series of gentle poses and mindful sequences designed to:

  • Build physical strength while enhancing flexibility

  • Promote relaxation with calming cool-down periods

  • Foster community connection where everyone feels valued and heard

This class connects movement to breath with a mixture of energetic yoga sequences, helping you transition into the weekend feeling grounded and refreshed.

Spectrum Yoga

Spectrum Yoga centers individuals on the autism spectrum. This class focuses on building mindfulness tools, gentle strength and flexibility, and self-empowerment in a supportive environment.

Participants engage in accessible movements and explore poses that promote physical and mental wellbeing while encouraging self-expression.

Through mindful awareness and community support, Spectrum Yoga encourages self-exploration and personal growth, making it an ideal space for anyone looking to enhance their wellbeing.

What to Expect:

  • This is an affinity group for any participant identifying as neurodivergent.

  • The focus of this class will be learning to link breath with movement to encourage a deeper understanding and connection with our physical bodies. This class is a faster moving class.

  • At times during classes, some participants may need to make sudden movements or sounds.

  • This class is suitable for participants 18+

  • This class is usually led by Anna Marshall

  • Open Up classes are designed to be accessible for people with and without disabilities. They are for everyone! We consider all of our classes “sensory sensitive/friendly” and our facilitators work to meet the unique needs of the students in the class and create a supportive environment. Supported Yoga for Autism 

This inclusive class is designed with our community members who flourish with 1:1 support in mind.

Overview:
Supported Yoga for Autism provides a comfortable and nurturing environment for participants to explore movement and mindfulness at their own pace. With ample time for transitions, this class allows individuals to experience yoga in a way that feels best for them while fostering self-expression, confidence, and a sense of community. Participants are welcome to bring a caregiver, friend, or communication partner for added support.

What to Expect:
This 60-minute class is a slower-moving class designed to encourage a deeper connection with the body by linking breath with movement. Sessions provide:

  • Gentle, intentional movement with extra time for transitions

  • Opportunities for self-paced exploration of poses

  • A supportive space where participants can bring a caregiver, friend, or family member if desired

This class is an affinity group for any participant identifying as autistic. Caregivers, family, and friends are welcome to join in a supportive role.

Yoga Mini and Me

This fun, inclusive class is for young children and their parents/caregivers.

Overview:
Yoga Mini and Me is a fun and engaging class designed for young children and their parents or caregivers. This class offers an opportunity for little ones to learn mindfulness tools, social-emotional learning skills, and creative expression while connecting with others in a supportive community. Together, we will practice breathing exercises, yoga poses, and restful moments—all while using our imaginations to explore and play.

What to Expect:
This 45 min class provides a playful and nurturing environment for kids to develop mindfulness and emotional regulation through:

  • Mindfulness tools and breathing exercises to promote calm and focus

  • Yoga poses and gentle movement to build strength, coordination, and flexibility

  • Opportunities for social-emotional learning and building community connections

  • Creative play to encourage imagination and self-expression

This class is designed for little ones to explore movement and mindfulness while having fun alongside their parents or caregivers.
